The Silver Wings are dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of children within northern Alberta. Over the past several years we have supported over 100 Alberta children and their families whose benefits from our Shriners Hospitals reach beyond treatment available locally.

In addition to supporting Shriners Hospitals, the Silver Wings have supported several initiatives within the Edmonton area which include, but are not limited to GRIT (Getting Ready for Inclusion Today), the Stollery Children’s Hospital, Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Kids with Cancer Society, and the EFCL (Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues), and the building of a playround in Poplar Park via the Florence Hallock Society. In addition, the Silver Wings support the Al Shamal Shriners in events they host to raise community awareness and fund Shriners Hospitals.  These events include parades and their annual Halloween Spooktacular. The impact of the Silver Wings within the community is evident through photos on this page.

Silver Wings Tom Welch and Codey Toma participated in the Hope Mission Coldest Night of the Year walk on February 21, 2016. The Silver Wings raised over $1,000 in this national walk for homelessness.
